"This book was a little more technical than I expected, so it was not a particularly easy read. It was written by a professor and seismologist at Cal Berkeley, and was also a tad dry.
Nevertheless, it contained a lot of information about earthquakes that I never knew; my question is always "What is the Richter scale of the trembler?", and as I found out, there are many more considerations in determining the causes of the devastation."
