"I love clouds, I love the very idea of cloud classification. I couldn't understand why it took so long or why no foundation of cloud-faith, or why no profoundly superstitious lifestyle guidance system based on cloud observance, governing, albeit superficially, our every move, was included in the back of low-culture magazines. Maybe clouds are few and far-between in those lands which give birth to mighty religions. Looking heavenwards, we see gaping hounds chasing twisting dragons, towering mountain ranges, and drifts of graceful, white armadas.
This book is cool, informative and charming, but it's a bit of a cocoa book too: too much sends me off to sleep. But in a good way. I will come back to it when I feel more awake."

Excellent pictures and web site. I learned a lot from this book and will certainly return to it to re-read."
