About this title: Over five hundred years ago, Esperetta's soul was bound to her husband's by dark magic, and when Velkan became a Dark-Hunter, to her horror, she became immortal as well. Now, they must come together to fight an old enemy...and the passion that threatens to consume them once more. In "Ride the Night Wind" by L.A. Banks, dark dreams haunt Jose Ciponte, dreams of a woman so beautiful he aches for her-and a deadly enemy who stalks them in the night. "Well, I enjoyed the Wild Wulfs story, just as I enjoyed the Wild Wulfs novels. The werewolf genre has really gotten my interest since I started reading the Keri Arthur Riley Jenson series. I didn't like the Anita Blake off-shoot story. Probably because I stopped reading the Anita Blake novels after about the 3rd book. The way the characters speak is odd, just as, the things they say. I just don't like the dialogue (both inner and external). Unfortunately, I am not able to describe what it is that bothers me so much. I skipped reading "The Gift". I believe I read a book in this series already, and I really didn't like it. The vampire "goddess" didn't appeal to me if I remember right. The "Dark Hunter" story was interesting. I found the lore about the differences between Dark Hunters and Daimons to be interesting. They both seem like vampires to mortal men but Daimons are the real bad guys. I might continue with this series. I believe I have one of these novels on my bookshelf waiting to be read."
"I've read the entire series and found them fascinating. I loved the action, the mystery and the idea that there are guardians fighting for the side of light. Two thumbs up!"
