"We homelearn with the children and have read this book together more than once over the years. It starts with the first nomads & farmers in the fertile crescent, and ends with the fall of Rome. It includes origins & stories of Christianity, Bhuddism & Confucius, along with myths & legends from Greece, Persia, Rome, Africa, South America, India, China and more. The chapters are interesting and not too long. It is the best historical curriculum that we have found to date, and my children request it. We also have the activity books, but mainly use this as a reader."
