"We're planning for our first baby and thought we'd look at all our options. Before reading this book we thought the idea of elimination communication (natural infant hygiene) was a bit much but the book makes it seem doable. As with many books that focus on alternative parenting methods (i.e., attachment parenting) I found this book to be somewhat biased and preachy but it was also well researched. Overall, this was a quick read to get some background on raising diaper free babies."
"I had no idea EC even existed before someone randomly gave me this book saying "it never worked for us but you might try it". So I read it and it got me pooped and peed on a few times but we got the hang of it. I'm thankful to this book for making me aware of EC, but I also liked the book "Diaper Free Baby" because it sets you up for stages of EC that make it easier to accept whatever level of it you want to practice. (occasional, part-time, full-time). Anyways, EC is pretty fun and funny too, I recommend finding out about it and trying it yourself :)"
