"I bought this book after reading about it in an online newsletter. However, it sat on my desk for ages with its beautiful cover picture staring at me. My quilter's guild had a workshop and then I finally read the book. The instructions are very easy to follow, the projects delightful, practical, and useful. There are numerous color pictures to get your creative juices started.
My regular zig-zag sewing machine had no problem sewing through the clothesline (be sure to buy one with no core-I got mine at Lowe's and Walmart and have had no problem sewing with either cotton or synthetic 3/16" clothesline).
You can make a project very quickly and with good success on the first try just by following the instructions. There are no secrets about this technique which anyone can do. I think that a multicolored fabric works better but anyone with any imagination can put together wonderful color combinations.
The book has lots of nice project ideas, instructions for them, and embellishments for the projects. Once you start, it is hard to stop!"
