"An historical mystery set in Vienna in 1902. Inspector Rheinhardt and Dr. Liebermann, a psychologist, search Vienna's secret societies to find a serial killer. The scene where they are pursuing the killer through the sewers of Vienna reminded me of the movie "The Third Man.""
"The only reason this is getting 3 stars is anything with gaslit streets or a piano player starts with 3 stars. Argh. Not a huge fan of writers trying to show you how smart they are/how much knowledge they have/etc... just tell me the story, please. Plus the 'solution' by the Lieberman character was silly and far-fetched. Ok, but shouldn't be first on your list. Nice job by the narrator of the audio-book, however."
