"Pretty much everything Eduardo Galeano writes is great. My only beef with this book (which did cause me to lose interest in it for a while) is that it's not a memoir as I expected. I'm sure a number of the incidents/scenes it recounts are from his own life, but really these are few.
Still, it's great. Put together in his trademark mosaic style, & many many of the little story-chips are gems."
