"The second book in Kootz's Frankenstein trilogy is juggling so many story threads that you don't have time to notice the flaws in the story. The mad Doctor is going ahead with his plan, the noble cops seem to be really struggling to fight with the bad guys, various of the Doctor's 'creations' are starting to think for themselves and wander off and the very famous 'Monster' tries to deal with it all.
Lots of action, suspense and interesting character bits, a evil mad scientist who has enough of a twist to keep him from getting boring and some likable heroes make up for the crazy pace and the fact that the title character spends so much time off camera.
"It just keeps on getting better, it that is at all possible. If there is going to be a monster that saves the world, let it be Frank. i have now read part I & II twice waiting on the 3rd installment... I can only hope the finale is as good as the first 2 books."
