The ...

"I mostly decided to read this book because I liked the cover (I know, I know...), and I thought it seemed interesting. I was a little bit disappointed at how formal some of the writing was, but I did appreciate the mix between a sort of "self help" attitude and "you should know this if you know any gay people". It was generally engaging, informative, and seems like it would be helpful for just about anyone. :)"
"The author delves into the world of boys and young men growing up gay in a society that finds them (at the very least) different. He connects these childhood experiences to the typical issues that gay men face today. Reading this book, I found that many of my feelings as an adult gay man probably stem from my childhood and youth in ways that I was unaware of before now. I learned a great deal about myself and about many of my gay friends. At the very least, this book incites introspection. I highly recommend this to any gay man (or those interested in better understanding their gay friends). One warning, however, the author badly needs a decent editor - one who can spell, who knows some rudimentary grammar and who can catch the omission of necessary words."
"I enjoyed this book. This book is more from a person that reminds me of Dr.Phil attitude. He goes through life pretty much identifying the gay man's troubles and why their life is so hard. Why a gay man's suffers with identity and relationships. He puts a lot of interesting ideas and opinions but I enjoyed this read. I like a book that makes me thing and evaluate my life."
