"The author was a scientist who got lymphoma. While there are some personal aspects to the book, it's mostly a fairly detailed scientific description. While I could follow a lot, some of it went over my head or I couldn't focus on. I think that was because I had so few facts about Mom's cancer to compare what I was reading to. I skimmed and skipped sections. Would be good to refer back to if I had more information though."
