"I loved this book. It has everything I want in a romance novel, an alpha hero, believeable (not wimpy) heroine, lots of adventure, and some history thrown in. Ahhhhh..."
The two distinct parts of the book? Well, they just didn't flow for me. The excitement would mount, and then there'd be the sex. The sex would end and the mystery would build, then more sex.
I picked up this series after reading the "Fae" series, and was disappointed."
"The story of the MacKeltars continues in this book with the "black sheep" of the family, Cian, a 9th century Druid who turned to the dark side. Cian has been trapped in a mirror by a sorcerer and only one person is willing to help him get out. Jessi St. James leaves her perfectly controlled life to help the highlander. I enjoyed the characters and the continued story of the MacKeltar twins from the previous books. I hope Moning will continue this series."
"To preserve my reading reputation, I must qualify: I ONLY read these books to get further background information on the 'verse of the FEVER books and the Tuatha Dé Danaan's machinations as concern Mac, the heroine of the FEVER series.
That said, the four Highlander books I did read weren't quite the bodice-ripping dreck I remember the other romance novels I've seen being..."
