"I like that they say don't drink soda and don't eat crap. They assume, though, that everyone wants to be skinny and that everyone wants to be a bitch. I would prefer to have a couple extra pounds and be a decent human being. Not these girls.
As far as their other food advice goes, it is poor at best. You don't need a diet to be healthy. Just a bit of common sense, some label reading and a bit of education, i.e.go read a different nutrition book!

"I thought the book would help me and others to gain control of my eating and weight. It's more a tirade against inhumane treatment of animals and degrading to people who enjoy animal protein.
Perhaps if I were Vegan or considering that life choice I would have enjoyed the book. As it was, it quickly went into the donation box and out of our home."
