"This book has really gorgeous pictures, and it's been a big hit the last few times I've read it for storytime. The alphabet angle is actually fairly subtle, so you can play it up as much or as little as you want. There's also some great vocabulary (like "slumber" and "lumber") that lends itself to fun explanatory asides."
