"This book is a great reference manual when something is "off" with your horse. But it is so well written and comprehensive I sit and read it out of interest. It does a good job of thoroughly covering topics without becoming so "textbook like" that you lose interest. I have many books on horses but they tend to barely touch the surface of info. I liked it so much I bought it as a gift for a horse friend."
"This is a very useful tome for those who seek answers about lameness. Although it's too old to cover the latest diagnostic techniques and treatments (i.e., MRIs, IRAP, etc.), it still provides excellent information."
