A couple of feng shui talks had left me lost. This is a fun read that makes it easy to understand and apply to a home that is already up and running. No need to take everything out and start over... no need to stress because all your stuff is the wrong color. Just use one of Karen's quick fixes or some red tape and gradually make the change.
I love her humorous examples and like to refer back to the book from time to time for entertainment.
I even bought a copy for a friend.
I own several Feng Shui books and this is my favorite. The author identifies areas of your home that correspond to areas of your life--Career, Health, Travel etc. I became a true believer when shortly after fixing up the 'Money Corner' of my house I won five hundred dollars. Part decorating, part organizing and all Feng Shui, this book packs useful information into every page. It is one of those books that I may loan, but insist on its return.
Entertaining and very easy to read.
I wish content was better organized or that the book included an index.
Discusses what to put and what to NOT put in various areas of the home. I found the list of objects to keep out of an area especially helpful.
This book is exactly what I was looking for. I would certainly recommend it to anyone who wants to know how to cure a negative lifestyle. The information is easy to read and understand. The author uses humorous examples to get her point across; and her ideas for success are enlightening. The illustrations and charts are great for quick references. I just can't say enough good things. It is much more valuable than it's price tag.
