About this title: A boy wants a pet, and so he writes to the zoo asking them to send him one. At first the zoo sends him an elephant, but the boy thinks it is too big, so he sends it back. Then the zoo sends him a giraffe, but the boy thinks it is too tall, so he sends it back as well. The zoo continues to send potential gifts to the boy, but the boy finds fault with each of them. Will the zoo ever send the perfect house pet for a little boy? Readers can participate in the story by lifting the flaps to open the various packages from the zoo.
