Has the U. S. Government covered up the most astonishing story of all? "
I own three copies of this book, which is an excellent, and very accurate, account of an actual TRUE treasure that was found, then lost, then ultimately found again ( this time by the military at White Sands ) I am able to speak about this with some authority, having been intimately involved with this little mountain, and it's fabulous treasure cave since 1955 ! The book gives a comprehensive background history of Victorio Peak and the people associated with it, up to, and including, the ill-fated "Operation Goldfinder" expedition of 1977, which was allowed only a ten day search by the army, that ended, appropriately enough, on April Fool's Day ! ( NOT meaning that they were fools for searching, but that they were fooled by the U;S; military, who only made a pretense of cooperating with them ) The army removed gold from the cave in 1961 or 2---and again in 1974, when 37.5 TONS were taken out-------benefiting both Presidents Johnson and NIxon ! A new book, detailing these thefts, is now being written, with documentary evidences, and should be completed before the year is out------Since the story involves at least two presidents, it is appropriately entitled : " The GOLD House ", with a picture of the White House on the cover !
