"This is a great story about three girls who have the best and worse summer ever on a peach orchad farm.
Murphy, Leeda, and Birdie all have different life stories and they face great adventures with eachother weather its's messing around past curfue or driving all the way to a different state for someone they fell in love with. In the beginning neither one of them like eacthother, but eventually all three of them become the best of friends.
I actually loved this book by the time I was done reading it. I wasn't sure at first if I was going to like it, but Jodi Lynn Anderson writes as if it's a movie, like your sitting there watching all the characters come alive. It was great."
"I read this book about three years ago, so I don't remember the book entirely. But I do remember that it was very hard to put down.
It's about three very different girls, Leeda, Birdie, and Murphy. Murphy was the bad girl, Birdie was the quiet girl, and Leeda is the rich girl. They all end up on a peach orchard in Georgia. At first they don't get along, but as they get to know each other while they work together on the orchard, they develope a strong friendship. And there's a little bit of guys and romance involved, so that's always nice to have. :P
Peaches is an amazing book. Beautifully written with awesome characters. If I was the soft type when it comes to books, I probably would have cried. I recommend this book to any girl out there."
"This novel has the same flavor as the travelling pants series, and the same subject--exploring teenage girls' friendships. Three girls bond in a peach orchard, and their friendships are tested by romances, by family backgrounds, and by trials. Same caveat as most teen fiction these days: premarital sex is taken for granted, but at lest, in this novel, it's taken seriously and not gratuitous or explicit. The novel is a sweet look at girls' friendships."
