"For anyone who has struggled with their weight, or who simply wants to reach their "ideal" body, this is an excellent book. The authors draw on many different avenues--Jungian Psychoanalytic theory, Buddhism, Neurolinguistic programming (NLP)-- in order to change the way that you think about food and exercise. Although I originally got the book out of the library, I bought it on Amazon today so that way I could write in it: it has wonderful checklists/exercises highlighting what thin people intrinsically do, and by completing the checklists, I found myself becoming more and more aware of habits which sabotage my "perfect weight" goal. After reading this book, I feel 100% confident that I will not only lose the 16 extra pounds that I am carrying, but that I will keep it off as well.
