"I don't usually like Western's but this was one was delightful! The H/H relationship was fiery but fun. I started it one evening and ended up staying up half the night finishing it. The only downside was the resolution of the "first married, first baby" problem - really unrealistic and silly."
"This is the third of the McKettrick books. These books actually read as one book, with the story of the last book picking up with no time lapse on the first page of the next book. This is the story of the baby brother Jeb and his wife Chloe. Once again, marshalls, ranchers, gunslingers and hookers. A quick read -- I'm thinking I'll read book 4 which finishes the McKettrick brothers, and that might be it for westerns for a while."
"I love reading the McKettricks books. As I read each book I had to go out and find the next book in the series. For me these books are a must have in my book collection."
"This is another one of the fun books by LLM. In this, the third in the McKettrick Cowboys series, the youngest son Jeb has wed Chloe while in Tomestone. But then finds out that she may be married to another man. She insistes that she is divorced from this other man but Jeb wont beleive her so leaves town and heads back to his fathers ranch in Indian Rock. Months later Chloe shows up in Indian Rock looking for a teaching position. When she steps off the Stage Coach she sees Jeb and hires a buckboard to chase him down. There is definately love here, but they must work through their mistrust of each other and the various problems around them.
I Found this to be touching and yet fun to read. I have enjoyed all of the McKettrick books but I think this one had a little something special."
