Helped me appreciate the significance of some of the experiments that are ongoing at CERN etc such as the hunt for the Higgs boson. Got me thinking about the question: what is the speed of gravity? It's the speed of light...so how come you can calculate the trajectories of satellites without a delay time to account for finite speed of gravity? Mysterious, isn't it?
