About this title: "Here's all you need to know about men and women: women are crazy, men are stupid. And the main reason women are crazy is that men are stupid." Legendary comedian George Carlin rolls out another hilarious compendium of jokes, observations, and essays, mainly focusing on language. "The energy criminals now refer to oil drilling as oil exploration. Instead of Mobil and Exxon, they'd rather you picture Lewis and Clark." Political correctness is sensibly referred to as "America's newest form of intolerance," the Ten Commandments is "a padded list," and Carlin wonders whether "Dale Evans ever ...

"Parts of this made me laugh, others did not. I like George Carlin, but at times find him too abrasive with the crude humor. I love the plays on the English language and the attacks on the soft language of today. Overall, the humor is there, (I listened to the audiobook) but it seems very disjointed, more like ramblings rather than coherent thought."
"His did not bring the funny. George Carlin was too good of a thinker to have failed to spit at the English language as he so often did without maintaining the level of humor he is known for. I do not put down a book easily but I had to quit this after only 100 pages."
"Of the three books of his I've listened to, this one was the best & pretty much encompassed the other two. His humor sometimes goes over the edge into peevishness. Other times I disagree so completely that his rant becomes a sad statement, but for the most part I liked & agreed with his sentiments. He truly had a great way of looking at our world."
