Seeing the gorgeous Fae and having to pretend she can't has caused Gabby no end of trouble in both her personal and professional life. It is definitely a recipe for disaster (and romance) when she encounters the seductive Fae prince Adam Black, who has been stripped of his immortality and exiled to the mortal world, where he's invisible to everyone but ...

"This series certainly is my guilty pleasure. The pattern from the previous books continues here and yet I am so delightfully invested in the characters that I dont mind. I love the snark and when KMM pokes fun at romance novels. This book in particular also has information that relates to the Fever series and it was great to get some more back ground. I wonder if this book inspired that wonderful series..."
"I really like hearing the story and background of adam black, as well as the back story of the Darroc. To be honest, I was more interested in that part of this story, and not so much the love story between Adam and Gabrielle. I found that to be a little generic, especially when compared to the previous 3 or 4 highlander stories... I really liked that she was the first sidhe-seer, and enjoyed hearing some back story on that as well... still looking forward to the next fever book desperately ;)"
"OMG! Seriously. This book was one of the best I've ever read. I laught and cry all day. The other books in the series were really good, each better than the last, but they were more or less in the same category. This one was superb.
Adam was the sweetest thing. One of the best male characters that has been talk about in a book.
Really this book is a MUST READ. If anyone has not read it yet, do it. So good!"
"This novel focuses on the notorious fairy Adam Black who has been causing all kinds of trouble since book one of the Highlander Series. He saves the life of Dageus MacKeltar in book five and now must be "mortal" and live a life of invisibility as a punishment. However, when he meets Gabrielle O'Callaghan, a sidhe-seer who can see him, he realizes he must do everything in his power to get her to help him. This continues the stories of the MacKeltars and is a refreshing look at Adam. I love the end of the book; true love prevails."
