"Before you go tearing your horses shoes off, I would definitely read this book three or four times. Although he says every horse ever can go barefoot, if you can't keep them on a tough, rocky pasture or trim them constantly, it's not a good idea.
Thanks to this book, I'm successfully barefooting six horses on our ranch. However, we also discovered that for three others, barefooting is NOT going to work (considering the type of pasture we have available). Live and learn, but read this book many times before you try it."
