"I've never read any other Merleau-Ponty, so I can't really say with authority if this is a good introduction to his work, but I doubt there is a better one. This is a series of lectures that Merleau-Ponty made on French radio in 1948. Each chapter is a fun, lucid argument for the centrality of perception in the human world. I especially enjoyed his description of honey in contrast to Descartes' example of wax."
