It is written in a style that often irritates me, yet written by people whose ideas I agree with and I find that endearing.
This is a self-help book disguised as activism. Maybe it's a self-help book for activists.
I have to admit that though self-help books really irritate me, this book is actually helping me. It is helping me to see that what I struggle with, other people struggle with also. It seems like having a conversation about it could also work but that people don't often talk about what they fear and how they fail in a meritocracy such as this culture.
So, reading about fear and failure in a book is as close to sharing my fear and failure with other people as I may ever get..."
"An excellent book about fear, making a difference and living one's dream. I am loving it. Recommended for anyone who's not sure what that next step is.
I finished it, and the resource lists and quotes at the back of the book are particularly valuable."
