"The author seems to not take any stand for a true religion, but embraces bits and pieces from many different religions, mainly Buddhism and Christianity. The translation done for this book is poor quality and repetitive.
The books main theme is that we are made of water and so is everything around us. Therefore we need to "transmit" positive thoughts and positive energy and positive things will start to happen for us. The author also has the idea that humans can cause clouds in the sky to break up and disappear. When I read the process of the "cloud disappear" experiment I started to laugh out loud and my husband said "That good, huh?"... According to the author I would be considered a "closed minded person" because I can't get behind his thoughts.."
"I very much enjoyed the photos of crystals in this book.
I believe that it contains Truth. We are largely made up water (chemically speaking) and I believe that our thoughts help shape who we are, which in turn, can influence those around us, for good or bad.
I believe in the power of prayer (crystals before and after prayers are shown) and that it can have a profound effect on us and the world around us.
I believe that great music can uplift, inspire and enrich.
We need to be so careful of how we think of, and treat others. The photos in this book prove this concept in a very visual and dramatic way.
I do think Mr. Emoto missed the boat slightly when he said love is not the greatest power, but gratitude is. While I know that gratitude is very powerful and very necessary, especially our gratitude to God. I believe that the pure powerful love of Jesus Christ is the greatest force and power in the Universe. If not for His love and the love of our Father in Heaven there would have been no purpose in creation or life.
This Christlike love, is truly a life changing force! I continually seek to acquire this attribute in greater measure in my life!
After reading this book I find it no accident or coincidence that Jesus Christ refers to himself as "living water".
On a lighter note, since I read this book I wrote my own special love and gratitude type words on the bottom of my personal water jug. I fill it (about 9 cups) with tap water, because that is what is available to me. Since writing the words on the jug I can tell a difference in the taste of the water, it takes more clean, crisp and pure.
