Through clever use of genetic engineering, brainwashing and recreational sex and drugs all its members are happy consumers. Bernard Marx seems alone harbouring an ill-defined longing to break free. Bound in the publishers original fine weave blue cloth with gilt title lettering to spine. This is the first impression of one of the most important books of modern literature. All pages are present and correct with no inscriptions and are tightly bound. Book sits solid and square. Pages are clean and free of foxing, unusual for a volume of this age, having been well protected by the boards over the years. The paper used in its production is of a particularly good quality resulting in the pages being relatively umarked. Gilt title lettering to spine remains sharp and bright with no fading. Light overall wear and signs of handling. Marked to the front board and a light crease to the spine of the binding but a presentable copy nontheless. This was the work for which Aldous Huxley would forever be associated with even though his output of other titles was prolific to say the least. A clean and tidy copy in presentable condition. Photographs are available on request.

Really didn't much enjoy the writers style and quite honestly didn't find the book that interesting. Primarily read it because of the many references to it in other texts. Didn't expect a lot and didn't get a lot.
