About this title: This book contains twelve essays on a variety of philosophical subjects. Among the various philosophical inquiries which Mr. Watts' younger studies had committed to writing, these few escaped the injuries of time and other accidents, and by the persuasion of a learned friend, they are offered to the public. Some of the subjects treated in these essays include space, substance, body and spirit. Also, a Brief Scheme of Ontology or the Science of Being. Due to the age and scarcity of the original we reproduced, some pages may be spotty, faded or difficult to read. Written in Old English.
