"I purchased this outline for my Fluids civil engineering class. The professor recommends that we purchase this particular outline, in addition to our textbook. I found that Schaum's outline cuts to the chase, and skips a lot of the derivations of formulas and ideas. The outline very briefly explains the concepts, but not to the point that you will understand the concept. Don't be discouraged, however, as the outline makes up for it by giving a very huge amount of examples. This is where the learning kicks in with the outline. It works through many examples, explaining the why and the how. Most fluid textbooks are very tedious to read. Yet, I took the time to read the textbook, and then I proceeded to work examples in the outline. This would be the best method to follow in your fluids class."
