"This book represents all kinds of different families and what they like to do. Some families are small and some are big, some only have one parent and some have two moms or two dads, some families are noisy and some are quiet, but all families are alike in some ways and special no matter what. This is a great book to use when teaching about differences. You would need to be careful using it in a classroom though since it does talk about some touchy issues. This book is also great to practice opposites and you could use this during a unit on families at a day care or just read it alone with your child. I also loved the illustrations and the colors. The illustrations were very "child-like" and I think toddlers would enjoy looking at all the pictures."
"This book talks about all different kinds of families: some have one parent, two parents, two mommmies, two daddies, etc. I highly recommend it for nontraditional families."
