"This was the first book I read by Patricia Cornwell and I think I am hooked. I really enjoyed every page, right through to the last sentence. I am going to read her first book in this series, Postmortem, next. If I enjoy it as much as Blow Fly, you will be seeing a lot more reviews of her books from me in the coming months.
At first, I was worried that there were too many characters to keep up with, but Cornwell has a very good way of bringing everything together, including the fact that some of her "chapters" are only 1-2 pages long."

I kind of wondered why the strong attractive character of Benton wesley had been killed off leaving such a gap - but here he is again - rather complicated plots interweaving and shock of his reappearance - wonder where the Kay/Wesley storyline will lead now? Still keeping me hooked to read the next but this one somehow didn't seem as tight as the others - a bit all over the place. But maybe that's to reflect the main character's state of mind? Possibly maybe! We'll see."
"I love Patricia Cornwell and have read every book on Kay Scarpetta but this one just didn't met my expectations as previous ones did. I don't know if it's I expect more since I don't have as much time to read now (I've had this book sitting on my shelf for a couple of years!) or if the character is just getting old. Not as good as previous books I thought. So far it's better than "Book of the Dead" though!"
