"Might be good for an older toddler. My 2 year old really likes this book, but I don't think she understands it all because the illustrations add so much to the story. I would have to explain the last page quite a bit for her to entirely understand. Also, if your child gets scared easily, this might not be the book for them (at one point, the family gets locked in a cage)."
