"This was completely unexpected. Actually, as this was the first of his books I read, I didn't know what to expect...but it delivered. I was entertained, I fell for the red herring, which doesn't happen much...and I am adding him to my read everything he writes list"
"This was OK for it's intended purpose, although I found the main character a little too snarky for my liking. For that matter, all of the characters were very one-dimensional and stereotypical, right down to the gets-everything-done-smartmouthed-middle-aged-black-woman-assistant. Of course, I also have a hard time setting aside the obvious errors in the depiction and description of the military justice system. But, if you are just looking for a fairly light spy-themed whodunit, this isn't bad."
