"summary: A 13yr. old boy named Peter Hatcher lives in New York and has a little brother named Fudge that becomes absessed with money and thier family trys everything to make it stop. At the same time, there myna bird stops talking and his best friend moves away to Princeton.
opinion: I like this book because of all the trouble Fudge starts because its funny and I just like realistic fiction.
recomendation: I recomend that you read this book, but first read Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing and Super Fudge."
"A boy named peter has a hard time, cuase of his little brother named Fudge.Fudge and peter get in fights and everything. I would recommend this book to lots of people.I think this book is very good.I tought this book was very funny cause of fudge being very silly.People that like to laugh i would read this book if you like to read and laugh."
"peter meets even more trouble when meets his cousins who are singing twins, a little boy who acts like a wild animal. they go through a hole lot of crazy adventures. the story is really funny but not what i consiter five stars."
"This book by Judy Blume brings back the return of Peter Hatcher and his little brother, Fudge. In this comical storyline, they come across distant cousins from Hawaii who unexpectedly encounter each other while on vacation in Washington, D.C to visit the Bureau of Printing and Engraving and fulfill Fudge's obsession with money. The Hatcher family ends up inviting themselves to stay in New York City with Peter's family, and ends up in a story full of slapstick antics with a cousin who acts almost like another 'Fudge.'
With Judy Blume's first Fudge book arriving on the shelves many years ago, I wondered if it would live up to its' previous reputation. I really enjoyed it and think this book is definitely a great choice for anyone in need of a laugh. The realistic charactistics of each character only add to the silliness. Fudge is definitely quite the child. I will definitely be adding this book to my library."
