"This book is just awful. I read The Third Eye many years ago and found it mildly interesting. So I gave Rampa another chance. Oh dear. His writing is filled with contradictions, juvenile ideas, faulty logic, and thick-headed dogmatism. Rampa could be poster-child for the New Age movement. I really wish I could give less than one star, as it is one of the worst books I have ever read. He goes off on pointless tangents. His illustrations have little to do with the subject. Superstition is rife. And above all that, Rampa puts on high airs of being a master of some sort, treating the reader like an imbecile, which, I suspect, many of his readers are."
