"I love the directions the characters go in, but wish they were more developed in this book. Jenn gets some time, but Kevin needed a lot more, and the others' growth was completely ignored (okay, Paul got a bit). Aside from that, I loved this book and couldn't put it down. Book 3, please?"
"Like another reviewer said, this book starts off slowly, but it picks up by the end. It does have hooks in the beginning, but they are subtle.
Plus, I am an Arthurian fan, and this book does a good job of filling in the gaps of reading the other Arthurian books. This is especially true of the most recent movie.
So if you enjoy Knights of the round table than this book is a must read."
"Like the first in the trilogy, this book started out slow and a little boring, but picked up by the end to become interesting and very tense. The introduction of Arthurian myth elements was nice. I enjoy how all the characters are all just facets of well-known archetypes."
