About this title: Art historian Vicky Bliss gets possession of a photo of a woman dressed in the legendary golden jewels of Troy. "As I start downloading lady mysteries, I am reminded that this is one of my favorite series and this one of my favorite books of it. These characters sparkle together like few others do. Great mystery, great romance. Setting the bar high as I revisit the genre!"
"This book just got more and more insipid the further it went along. About half way through, I just couldn't read any more. This had more "romance" in it than Peters' other books, but that wasn't what bothered me so much as the incredibly awkward and bizarre relationships that Vicky Bliss has with all her men folk. Too bad - the premise started off well, although this book is definitely dated now that we know who has the Schliemann treasure."
"This book was recommended by my mother in law. I really enjoyed reading it. It was suspenseful and left me wanting to read more books about Vicky Bliss."
