"I'm giving it 3.5 stars. It was hard to put down for me. If you're a fan of archeology and like the outdoors combined with a fast-paced, maybe a little far-fetched read then this is a good book for you! Set in the desert SW, a woman heads up an archeological expedition to uncover the "city of gold" that Coronado heard about. I read it in about 3-4 days!"
Book #60 in the 52 Books in 52 Weeks Ravelry Challenge.
I need to read this book to understand what is happening in 'The Cabinet of Curiosities'. I started to read 'The Cabinet of Curiosities' and was losted. 'Thunderhead' is the background to 'The Cabinet of Curiosities'."
"What can I say, I love these guys. They've seriously jumped the shark lately but their older stuff is awesome. We're first introduced to Nora in this book, and Smithback makes an appearance. Good adventure."
"Ok, it was much too scary for me. I did like how it took place in familiar territory for me. Right here in in northern AZ, I could really picture what was happening. But overall, it was much too scary for me. A definite page turner, one that will keep you up at night. I liked it, but didn't like it at the same time."
