"Fudge,Peter,Elaine,Joanne,Alex, and Jimmy went to the movies then Peter and Joanne fall in love when first Joanne offers peter some of his popcorn and touch hands then when Peter offers Joanne some popcorn too they touch hands again then right when the super man kisses Lois Lane Peter felt something icy cold go down his back Fudge was hanging in the back of my seat with a handful of ice cubes from his coke and said "Hi pee tah" and then Joanne offers Peter a kleenex. Then peter asked if she could wipe his back and neck when she was done she was holding peters hand. when peter was walking home with Alex and Jimmy Alex said so how does it feel like being in love?Later at school Mr.Bogner brought in a sprig of mistletoe
Alex rasied his hand and said who ever goes under it gets kissed and when the school bell rang he found
him self next to Joanne they looked at each other and Joanne kissed Peter on the cheek."
"Totally best one ever! Meet Melissa Beth Miller, the odd girl Fudge's age who rents out their apartment when they move out from New York City, Rich Potter, the very very very rich spoiled kid who lives in Princeton with Fudge, and has really bad allergies to dogs (and want's florets or tahini instead of carrots and peanut butter), and Daniel Manheim, the tough-kid who shows that he's just a big wimp when Elaine joke-threatens to punch him, and Alex, Peter's new friend who is obsessed with the Frank Fargo painting Anita's Anger."
"I think the book Super Fudge is very funny. But while I was reading this book I felt kind of depressed. I felt depressed because Peter, the older brother, was really mad when the mom said that they were going to have another baby. I felt depressed because the author used really meaningful words in that part. For example Judy Blume used words like "how could you" and "I kept on shouting". After reading this, it really made me feel down too. It kind of reminded me of the time my mother said that she was having a baby, I was so shocked. The only difference between my experience and Peter's, was that I wanted to have a little brother or sister. (It turned out to be a brother) I would have liked that parents found out they were having twins or triplets after they told Peter that they were having a baby. I wished that would have happened because I would like to see how Peter would have reacted. Now he could of been happy or mad. Now I know what you are thinking. Happy, how could he be happy? He was mad enough when his mom told him that they were having one baby, how could he be happy when they were going to have two or three. Well if you think about Peter could of thought "well ,maybe one would be like Fudge and that would be bad. But the other one could be like me and then I could just hang around that one". And of course he could also be furious. I also felt depressed when Peter had to move schools and states. I know how it feels because when I moved to ps183 I did not know anybody. Plus New York was a lot different than Maryland and Washington DC. So over all I would give this book 4 stars.
Layla,
Well now that I am on page 129 of Super Fudge I am finding it to be a lot different than where I left off last time. The difference is that I like Peter's attitude about things a lot more because he rethought about Tootsie, the new baby, and Fudge, the four year old brother, a little bit more. Now you can tell that he is starting like Tootsie a little more. For example Peter now holds her and puts her down for nap time and is a lot more cautious about her. And for Fudge he is starting to help a little bit more each and every day. I think Fudge is also starting to change a little bit more. I think he is starting to respect Peter a little bit more and also Tootsie. Fudge is also being more careful with Tootsie. So I really like their new attitudes. I like how Judy Blume is making me feel like they are actually turning different ages and getting an older attitude. Even Tootsie. Tootsie started to crawl at the same age that my brother Colin started to crawl. Fudge is doing really well in school. Peter thinks he is too old to get dressed up for Halloween, only little kids do that. So now Fudge and Peter are not the only ones changing. When I was reading that portion of the book I felt happy but I was still trying to get over being depressed from the last part of the book. But when I got used to it I felt really happy. I felt happy because everything was starting to get settled in. Again Fudge is doing well in school, Peter is making a lot more friends and both the mom and the dad have jobs. Mom is a dentist and dad is writing a book. So after reading this part of the book I would give the book five stars."
Superfudge is about a boy named Peter and his family. Mainly, his little four year old brother Farley Drexel Hatcher, Fudge for short. All of Peter's problems start to begin when his mother brings up news to the family that she is pregnant. Peter does not like the idea of this because Fudge is enough torture to him. So after the new baby is born they decide to move to New Jersey for a bigger home. Peter is devastated at the thought of leaving the city but his parents claim it will only be for one year. Peter's mom had a girl and her nickname is Tootsie. Peter makes a new friend named Alex, together they dig up worms and sell them to a lady on their block. They arent sure what she does with them but they are pretty sure she likes to eat them. Fudge causes a lot of problems for the family. Fudge doesnt like the new baby because he still wants to be his moms little baby. Fudge is starting school and goes to the same school as Peter so a lot of humiliating things happen to Peter. At an assembly an author named Brian Tumkin came to the school and he is Fudge's favorite author so he runs up on stage. Brian asks Fudge to describe someone to him and he will draw it. So Fudge describes the principal as a fat bald man and everyone laughs then Fudge starts to call out for Peter, but of course Peter just slides further and further down his seat. He does this to avoid getthing laughed at from his crush, Joanne. Joanne and Peter go to the movies together with a bunch of friends and Peter makes some moves like holding hands in the popcorn bucket but Joanne doesnt pull away. One day Peter and Alex decide to go to a picnic but Fudge wanted to go but couldnt because it was too far for him so he and his friend Daniel decide to take their bikes and go to a bakery next to the lake to prove they can do what Peter and Alex can do. The parents take ir as they ran away together but realize what had happened in the end. At the end of the story the family realizes what they moved there for isnt really all that interesting anymore so they take a vote and decide to move back to New York!"
