Evolution has programmed men to conquer and monopolize women while women, without ever knowing they are doing it, seek the best genetic input on offer from potential sexual partners. In ...

"I planted this book on the shelves right at kid height. I expect they'll notice it and "sneak" off with it in a year or two. Its an excellent "real world" addition to sexuality that parental explanations can't really cover."
"Deals with the body's strategies (mostly unconcious) to become impregnated by/impregnate one's partner. Shows about 30 scenarios in support of the arguments; I am not sure if the arguments are well-supported by biological fact. After scenario 15 or thereabouts, it started to get kind of repetitious - I got the point by then. Interesting ideas, though."
"An indictment of gender functions in society... Males are naturally predatory, females seek alpha for purposes of a genetically-better offspring. Baker's scenes at the beginning of each chapter are very gratuitous in terms of graphic imagery, sometimes made me cringe. In a good way."
