"This book is a poetry anthology. There were some fun, silly poems in this book that I enjoyed, but also some really boring ones as well. I, personally can't seem to get a feel for the poems about the weather. I don't think they would be enjoyable for children either."
"This fantastic compilation of poetry was recommended to us by Erin. The illustrations, done by nine separate Caldecott medalists, are reason enough to look it over. However, the poetry stands on its own, attested to by the fact that I read parts of it to the kids while they ate breakfast and they certainly didn't need the pictures to keep them entertained and asking for more. We definitely want to own this one . . . so sad it seems to be out of print."
