"This is the book that made me become an anthropology major, but only because I am tired of writing analytical English papers. I read the whole thing from cover to cover, not by choice. It an was interesting approach to Anthropology. Heider, for the most part, talked about the Dani culture, but only because he researched them. A lot of Heider's data seemed based on his thoughts and feelings rather than empirical data. Nevertheless, this textbook was a good introduction to Anthropology."
