"Actually, I finished the whole series this summer. I enjoyed all 8 volumes. The only complaint I have is that I wish the author went into more depth with the characters Louis Kent and Elizabeth Fletcher Kent. They had potential to have really nasty personalities. Other than that, I highly recommend this series."
"Volume #1 in Kent Family Chronicles The begining of a great adventure in Historical Fiction by John Jakes. There are 8 books in this series. You will want to read them all and be sorry when it ends and their are no more to read. This series has made John Jakes my favorite author."
