"Riders", the first and steamiest in the series, takes the lid off international showjumping, a sport where the brave horses are almost human, but the humans behave like animals. "Picked up this book after the recommendation from last month's Goodreads newsletter about it being a perfect summer read. It was a fun romp--at over 900 pages, it wasn't the "lightest-weight" summer read. But it read pretty quickly. I learned a lot about British show jumping. As for recommending it any of my friends--I don't think I could. It's much too salacious."
"This is comfort reading when I'm feeling low or ill - along with Maeve Binchey. Doesn't need any brain and there is a plot at least. Like window shopping! One can dream!"
