Book Recently rebound in dark green cloth, so the hinges and binding are good and the exterior is clean. In the interior pages there are some chips and small tears along the edges mostly on the first xii pages (Introduction) and the last two pages of the index. Otherwise, there is some occasional chipping, browning, and soiling, but overall a nice copy. The previous owner made, in pencil, some margin notes. All Plates are present. This is Not an Ex-Library copy. This is the more desirable Second Edition done in 1890 with 100 Plates, 99 in color. (The first edition, done in 1888, had 50 Plates. )
