"An excellent text in elementary sedimentology and stratigraphy! I wish he had covered basic weathering and soils a bit more for my benefit, but to be fair, this book assumes one already understands soils and such. I also was hoping for more discussion on glacial systems and their dynamics. Great connection with current research papers and such. Excellent discussions on biostratigraphy!
