About this title: Joel Blackstone doesn't think that librarian Letitia Thornquist has the right stuff to run Thornquist Gear Inc. Teaching her the business is all he plans to do, until the sensual curves under Letty's navy-blue suit and the desire in her eyes leave him longing for a more personal kind of merger.

"This is yet another Jayne Ann Krentz romance about a man with a past who doesn't trust easily and a woman who is learning to trust in herself. The protagonists are likable enough and have good chemistry together. Despite their initial mistrust and wariness, they find themselves strongly attracted to each other.
It's a fun romp with a quick story and one or two unexpected curves thrown in. I found it an enjoyable read."
"Only because this book was written by Jayne Ann Krentz did I NOT rate this a one star. Some writers I would never give a bad mark for. But I absolutely could not stand the heroine I hated her and it ticked me off that the hero liked her. This milly mouse librarian worked my last nerve and after a while the hero irked me to no end because all I could picture was him walking behind Miss Know It All carrying her coat, fetching her a drink, etc. I don't care for this type of heroine unless the guy is twice as strong. He seemed tooooo hesitant to put his foot down. She was an escapee from an Anne Stuart book without the likes of Luke "Lord do not let my daughter meet a guy like this" Bardell (the best hero of all time found in Ritual Sin), around to bring her back to earth.
However, like some books by other of my favorite writers I can never throw away a Jayne Ann Krentz book. Ever."
