"This is better than Anthony Powell's Cresset Press volume. Why? Because the Dick edition is not Bowdlerized. It has John Selden getting 'more by his prick than he had done by his [law] practise.' In Powell, for pudoris causa one assumes, this is rendered as 'more by his marriage...' On the other hand, Dick's book has modern spelling -- an editorial change that makes, for easier reading than Powell's archaic orthography."
